Who We Are
The Good Shepherd Orphanage and Schools Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian Humanitarian Organization that serves the needs of children in Haiti and is comprised of 1 orphanage, 3 schools, a day care, a trade school and a bakery.
This ministry operates solely on the donations of others all over the world. Hundreds of short term mission groups have participated in this great work over the past 50 years.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Good Shepherd Orphanage and School Foundation is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is done by teaching the gospel, feeding, clothing and educating all the children in its care.
Statement of Faith
We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
